Two initial thoughts when i saw this bike...
1. Its very cheap, this could be a good buy.
2. It seems to be quite a pile of shit.
At least one of those initial thoughts was correct. It a rough one indeed, in its recent life, its undergone a slap and dash "restoration/modification" using only the lowest quality parts installed in a comical manner. The wiring concept is based on an artistic design of joining as many short pieces of multicolour wire together in a random sequence, which produces lovely little sparks for no electrical purpose. Various parts of value seem to have been stolen haphazardly in the last few months, generally chopped out with much mechanical sympathy. It doesn't run, and looks pretty shabby. Its birth certificate and heritage are questionable, seeming to more likely a mongrel mix of various bikes. It was cheap, and i bought it almost sight unseen, because it was very....cheap. On the plus side, its an overhead cam engine, reasonably sound frame, good wheels, good front forks. I'm not sure which way to go, feral rat bike, comfy cruiser, weird and experimental. I can't see a whole lot in the bike i like, but it is starting to grow on me. I have plenty of spares in the shed to get it rolling, and i might consider the fun and games of a full bike rewire as a learning experience. A twin port head also popped to mind, but all my thoughts keep going back to the mantra of this bike "keep it cheap". Looking for suggestions.
