Finally got the bike into the "chop shop". Wanted to drop it in before chrissy when I was in oz, but he was jam packed with orders. Well, he still is, it's gonna take around 20 days to get it back! Doh! At least it's in there and he lives nearby so I can regularly get on his case. As the parts get done I'll pick them up and work on paint etc. Back to the ol' yellow bebek for a while then. Work at the shop will include:
- Metal front and rear guards, long enough to actually be functional
- Lengthen side stand so bike doesn't lean so much with added height when parked
- New box-shaped tail at rear of seat area
- Mountig bracket for my new RX-King headlamp
- Side panel guards to protect battery and air filter, flared on the right hand side to accomodate air filter, flat on the left
- Cutting off the rear pegs and helmet locks
With proper size mud guards and side panels this bike will be rain ready and perhaps most importantly, will be able to be washed at the local "cuci motor" without risk of the high pressure hose blasting everyhing (I hate washing my bike myself...)
